Cornwall - the county of gardens, coast and natural beauty

The extreme point of Cornwall that's how Land's End is usually described. It is in fact the extreme south westerly point of the mainland. Lizard point is the most southerly and another location recommended for a visit for anyone who likes nature and botany in particular

Cornwall is well known for its heavenly gardens. Most people have hear of the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. There are many gardens to visit but nature's garden is free and equally beautiful.

The mild climate in south west England and especially so around Land's End and the Lizard encourages thousands of species of wild flowers to thrive on the cliffs and rocks creating a colourful spectacle from spring to autumn.
